“Façade” takes its title and its place in the Urban Landscapes series as the starting point for interpretation. The vibrant light, warm palette, and gestural brushwork give the composition its own rhythm. The subject is not merely depicted: it serves to organize the relationships among forms, colors, and rhythms.

The textured paint surface and an architectonic structure build a space whose depth appears suggested. The mysterious atmosphere and explosive energy guide the reading without confining it. The composition thus retains a degree of openness, where the identity of the motif enters into dialogue with the autonomy of painting and allows for several levels of perception.
