“Jerusalem” belongs to the Judaïca series, where the title acts as a threshold to memory, transmission, and biblical heritage. The radiant light, muted palette, and gestural brushwork give the composition its own rhythm. The signs and forms do not necessarily seek to tell a story: they bring to the surface a cultural and spiritual presence that remains open to interpretation.

The fine paint surface and an architectured structure build a space whose depth appears suggested. The meditative atmosphere and measured energy guide the reading without confining it. The work thus brings into relation what is given to be seen and what remains to be deciphered, allowing the painting to become a place of memory as well as a contemporary pictorial space.
